*NEW Metal Bulletin #30*

What does Scotland, Korn, Paul McCartney & AC/DC have in common?

Bagpipes...Yes! we know.

Scotland's Red Hot Chili Pipers rock. They do it in a different way.

Bagpipes & kilts are their weapons of choice. With guitarist Fife (born Nick Hawryliw). leading the way.

We know what you're thinking...seriously!!?

These guys rocks and they do it with bagpipes! What's not to like?

"The Red Hot Chilli Pipers' twist on our national instrument is a huge amount of fun. They have taken the bagpipes to a whole new audience and given them a rock 'n' roll edge which definitely earns them the Biffy seal of approval!" – Biffy Clyro

Since the 1960s, bagpipes have also made appearances in other forms of music, including rock, metal, jazz, hip-hop, punk, and classical music, for example with Paul McCartney's "Mull of Kintyre", AC/DC's "It's A Long Way To The Top", Korn's "Shoots and Ladders", etc. etc..

Bagpipes with attitude. Drums with a Scottish accent. A blazing rock band and a show so hot it carries its own health warning. The Red Hot Chilli Pipers have been rocking the world from New York to Beijing with musicianship of the highest order and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless....

Below you will find some footage from them...enjoy!!
